KINAYAH LANGUAGE STYLE IN AL-QURAN AND HADITH PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

The style of the language of the Al-Qur’an is indeed somewhat representative of the style of the Arabic people at that time. However, the majority of scholars of the Qur'an stated that the value of the language of the Al-Qur’an was far beyond the language of the literary experts at that time. Kinayah as one of the styles of the Al-Qur’an is one proof of miracles that it has, although it is still debated today as if it is between existence and nothing. The finding of the presence of kinayah in the Al-Qur’an is one way that can help reveal other meanings contained in the Al-Qur’an, apart from the birth meaning they have. This article leads to a discussion of two main points apart from understanding, namely the use of kinayah in the Al-Qur’an and the use of kinayah in the hadith. By examining the relationship between the language of the Al-Qur’an by implementing it in the use of hadiths that are contained in the language. The purpose of this writing is to determine the style of language or kinayah in the Al-Qur’an and hadith. This authorship is literature or library research, using the method of analysis, namely describing, or explaining the interpretations of the commentators and muhaddists on the kinayah, then confirmed by the interpretations of other commentators. In conclusion, kinayah can be interpreted as lafadz which means, explaining something in other words or saying figuratively or satirically. The use of kinayah itself can be in the form of expressions in more general lafadz, beautifying lafadz, and better expressions or vice versa.
